There are many different paths to a successful adoption. Why
choose Adoption Connection's infant domestic program to help
you grow your family?
Since 1984 Co-Directors Randie Bencanann, LCSW, and Lynne
Fingerman, MSW, have created adoption plans that work best
for both the birth and adoptive families. Thirty-nine years
of combined experience makes them infant adoption experts.
Adoption Connection is committed to answering all your questions in a timely
manner. No question is too silly, ignorant or repetitive. We understand that
during stressful times you will need immediate assistance and support. Our
tight knit team of professionals provides non-judgmental and caring service
so that you can get all of your questions answered and appropriate results.
With a fee for service contract you are only charged
for the services that you need and request. Our families pay
as they go for services rendered. As a non-profit adoption
agency affiliated with Jewish
Family and Children's Services (JFCS) of Northern California
we are able to keep our operating costs low and pass these
savings on to our adoptive families. This is why we can continue
to offer superior service and yet still charge reasonable
fees..
In an open domestic adoption birthparents help choose the
adoptive parents of their child, if they so desire. Adoptive
parents create a "Dear
Birthmother" letter and the birthmother gets the
opportunity to meet one or more prospective families. That
means adoptive families match with birthmothers when it feels
right for both, whether it takes six months or two years.
There is a birthmother out there for everyone!
Adoption Connection understands that families come in all
shapes, sizes and colors. We welcome couples and individuals
of all ages,of all religions, ethnic backgrounds and sexual
orientations. For more information go to our LGBT Adoptive Parenting page.
Adoption is a lifelong process. We are committed to helping you connect with
a birthmother and grow your family. We will continue to support you as you
begin raising your child. With appropriate workshops, support groups, and
resources we will make sure you have the information necessary to parent
at all stages of your child's development.
